Dear Friends,

all peoples have traditions that celebrate life. In Brazil, we are entering a period of holidays and gift-giving, filled with feelings of solidarity and new beginnings. To us as organizers of the Children and Youth International Conference Let's Take Care of the Planet, these times enforce the human responsibility to help conserving and propagating life.

We want to share this festive spirit in particularly with those who somehow participated with us in the CONFINT2010 process. So, we are glad to present to you (in Portuguese, the word "presente" means both "a gift" and also "to be present") the report of our CONFINT2010, an unforgettable event that we built together last June, on Earth Day.

Moreover, we also organized a few follow-up questions in order to learn, identify, register and share the unfolding actions, activities, policies in each country after CONFINT. Therefore we kindly ask the National Comissions to answer this survey and send it to us as soon as possible.

This research is extremely important for the continuity of the Conference process, as well as for thinking together about a second Conference where we could meet again in a caring and loving celebration of the Planet – Mother Earth, “Pachamama”.

Let's establish together a new benchmark to the construction of sustainable societies, through education.
